Basic knowledge of bending Machine

1、 Function of bending machine: bending machine is a kind of equipment which can process the plate into various angles. With the NC function, the machining accuracy and production efficiency are effectively improved.
2、 Classification of common bending tools:
Normally, the length of the tool is 835mml. In order to bend different lengths, the whole length of the tool is usually divided into the following sections:
10 + 15 + 20 + 40 + 50 + 100 + 100 + 200 + 300 = 835
3、 The corresponding relationship between plate thickness and groove width is as follows
The width of the groove is 6 times of the thickness of the plate. The comparison table between the thickness of the plate and the width of the groove is as follows:

5、 Normal bending sequence:
A. First short side then long side: Generally speaking, when all four sides have bending, folding the short side first and then the long side is conducive to the processing of the workpiece and the assembly of the bending die
B. Periphery first and then middle: under normal circumstances, it is generally folded from the periphery of the workpiece to the center of the workpiece
C. Part before whole: if there are some structures inside or outside the workpiece that are different from other bending structures, generally, these structures are bent first and then other parts are folded
Considering the interference, arrange the bending sequence reasonably: the bending sequence is not invariable, and the processing sequence should be adjusted according to the bending shape or the obstacles on the workpiece.
6、 Precautions for bending operation:
1. Pay attention to personal safety during bending operation, and pay attention to the following points:
A. When the equipment is open, do not reach in from the edge of the bending machine to adjust the rear gear: you should go directly to the back of the equipment to adjust
B. When machining parts, the human body should be outside the range of motion of the parts to avoid scraping the parts to the human body
C. When processing large workpieces, it is better for the human body to stand on the side of the workpieces for easy operation
D. Hold the workpiece well at any time to avoid damaging the workpiece or hurting the human body
E. During operation, the human body should stand firmly, and the balance of the body should not be affected by the movement of the workpiece
F. When operating close to the knife edge, both hands must lean against the appropriate position of the lower die to avoid fingers extending into the knife edge accidentally
G. The removed cutter can not be placed on the bending machine, nor can it lean on the bending machine, so as to avoid the cutter falling and damaging the human body
H. When installing the tool, make sure that the tool has been fastened before the upper and lower dies can be separated
I. When disassembling the tool, the upper and lower dies can be separated only after holding the tool firmly with both hands
J. Consider wearing protective shoes
2. During the bending operation, pay attention to ensure the integrity of the die and equipment
A. When installing the tool, always pay attention to the gap between the upper and lower die within the normal range
B. When installing the tool, make sure that the tool has been fastened before the upper and lower dies can be separated
C. After the mold is installed, it is necessary to check whether the lower mold is fastened in time to avoid damaging the tool due to the displacement of the lower mold
D. After the mold is installed, develop the habit of empty operation, and check whether the data input is correct according to the minimum gap between the upper and lower mold during the trial operation
